Recently purchased a mountain bike for my son for his birthday. The staff at Underwood were all very helpful and just found it to be a really easy experience from start to finish. Will definitely use this bike shop moving forward for any new purchases and servicing. David was very helpful and professional. Good knowledge and advice. Got exactly the bike I was looking for at a very good price.

great staff and products, a local company employing local people. great experience in general, got the bike i wanted at a good price. I had been into a local bike store in Beenleigh where the staff did not even look at me as I browsed around the store, just continued on their very manly bike talk about racing. o well I spent my 300 bucks here instead!

Popped into this store in Underwood, nice and friendly bloke we dealt with today. We were after a kids scooter and after looking on the net to see the prices we actually found this store to be the cheapest and $10 bucks cheaper than the scooter specialist right next door so yeh I was pretty happy. Thank you for the great customer service, cheers.

Poor Service. Dropped my Giant Defy in for a service on Thursday 22/6. On collecting bike was advised they had changed the rear tyre tube. I asked why and was told the manager had said so. When I told the repair guy that the tube was brand new ( 2 days old) and just need air, he said I needed to speak to the manager. Asked where the manager was and they couldn't find him. Had to pay for the service and the tube + tube change. To add insult to injury, got the hard sell that my cassette, chain, bottom bracket and headset all required changing and that it would be roughly $500. Have just been into another bike shop who confirmed that chain and cassette wear was only 30 -40% (ie plenty more riding in them) and there was no bearing noise from either the bottom bracket or headset. I have drawn the conclusion that the 99 Bikes team at Underwood are unscrupulous rip-off merchants.
